The Fiat 124 Spider is intriguing. It has a style that instantly gives a big wow and then draws you in as you keep surveying it and kicking the tires. Several friends noted it looked like a Mazda Miata but it’s leaner, longer and has a bit more tertesterone in it. The elongated front evoked a Corvette. The feel-the-road experience allows you the thrill of remembering every sports car that you’ve had the privilege to drive. In other words, it’s fun, seductive, wild and the least expensive of all its competitors.
I guess what we’re saying is, give the Fiat 124 Spider a chance. It will fulfill many of your sports car fantasies at a very realistic and do-able price of $24,995. We drove the Lusso, which starts at $27,496; ours had a few extras through brought the price up to $31,335.
