Yes, the ads worked. We’re not even really a fan of Matthew McConaughey or of his odd commercials. However, the brought Lincoln back into our consciousness as a brand and we needed to see what the fuss was all about.
And, it turns out the star of Dallas Buyers Club was right. The Lincoln is special. We drove the Lincoln MKC AWD Reserve and found it was a highly reliable, comfortable, luxurious ride that should be on everyone’s list for a compact crossover.
Built on the same platform as the Ford Escape, the MKC is not just a fancier version of its cousin. It has the look and feel of a vehicle that no only wants to stand on its own but stand out. So far, reviews have been highly favorable and the MKC is the top seller in the rebranded and redesigned Lincoln line of crossovers.
