The Ford Explorer was one of the first and most popular SUVs and, with the updates done in 2016 and some more for the 2017 edition, the Explorer has regained its crown as the SUV that delivers high-tech features, quality, plenty of passenger space and an excellent value. In short, a great family vehicle.
We drove the Platinum Explorer four-wheel drive the clocks in at about $55,000, which on the face of it seems a lot for a Ford. But you get a lot of bang for the buck. Among the standard equipment are heated front and second row seats, adaptive cruise control, dual-panel moonroof,500-watt Audio System from Sony and SYNC responsive voice-activate technology.
