Honda Civic FWD Touring a Steady Ride

Honda Touring is a steady ride

A Honda is like a mom. Reliable. Always present. Loyal and always does its best. Notice we didn’t use words like “exciting,” “showy” or “eye-catching.” Of course, sometimes moms surprise us and, with a day at the spa, shopping and new attitude, can come back and make everyone’s jaws drop. Same with the Honda Civic.

Honda is always on the must-list when looking for a reliable, standard vehicle. But this favorite lost its way a few years ago and wasn’t as competitive as in years past. But, that has changed. Starting in 2014 and continuing on, the Honda Civic has gotten a fully redesigned make-over from top to bottom that has made us turn our heads reminds us why we fell in love with in it the first place.

We drove the top-of-the-line Civic, the four-wheel drive Touring, which boasts 174 horsepower, 1.5-liter DOHD 16-valve direct injection turbo-changed 4-cylinder engine provides plenty of power and 162 lb.-ft. of torque. Overall, the ride is steady and better than ever. Thick anti-roll bars keep the car steady under all conditions. The chassis handles every curve and bump with confidence.
